METTLE

Rukh'han wich hi eina jeira ho sakda ey

ke kuhaa'rhian nu wi dastey bakhsh dein...

Only trees can have the mettle

to grant helves to axe - heads...

This reminds me of the fact that Guru Gobind Singh never ever said or wrote even a single word against Aurangzeb or any of his minions.

Secondly, this reminds me of Bhai Ghanaiya ji, who brought water to wounded and thirsty soldiers of the Mughal army, after a battle with the Khalsa army.

To attain this state of mind is the most difficult task of life.
One who attains, is par excellence.

Good thought you have posted here.

Keep it up!

Very true. In fact, a lesson to be learnt during some phase of life :)

OcMi-Perhaps you are right. Perhaps the courses of our lives are predestined-some of us become the trees, others end up as the axe-heads.

Manasa-Guess it is a part of growing up, which certainly has nothing to do with age.
