I Walked on Landmines

All night
I walked on Landmines.

Landmines
I had buried over my life
and
Forgotten.

I died or lived after last night?
I don't remember.

I lived perhaps...

But
I am maimed
Or complete?
I don't remember

You could not have walked over more than one live land-mine, unless you were wearing some sort of a protective suit that was landmine-proof. I am not sure whether such a suit has been invented yet.

:D

How do we know said...

this belongs in Punjabi..or was it just my head doing the translation?

Life is so complex, that every step of ours is on landmines.

Which saves us are- our good deeds- with which our physical weight doesn't effect these landmines.

So do your best, and forget.
Rest is up to the Almighty, which is the LONE SAVIOUR.

May God Bless You with more zeal to overcome out of every odd situation, in your way, if ever comes. AMMEN

Hi Mampi

If I have understood you well, you will survive all such nights.

But I think you should better:

- unhide and defuse them forever;
- or learn to walk without getting maimed.

Anwesa-Perhaps.

MySpace-I m sorry that it led to emptiness, but it couldn't be helped.

GP-Thanks.

SS-Landmines are live only when they burst, till they burst, they are live in the walker's mind. That is double torture.

HDWK-Thought is always in my own language, but this one was conceived in english. Didnt know the equivalent of Landmines in Punjabi.

Mama-Thank you. Don't think too much about it. I am fine.

Philip-What made u think so?

Gaz-You got me girl. But why are we such fools.

Manasa- :)

Manish-Yes, thanks for your words. I did think about them and found that I must take either of the two solutions you suggested.

Majaz-Nice? Is it the noodles speaking?

Anon-Let them be. It was just a rambling thought. I m fine.

Pinku-You pull me thru it with that sparrow support. Thankyou buddy.
